About Us
We currently support Little Angels Community school
HOW IT STARTED ?
20 years ago, Little Angels School began as a small nursery in Kanamai Kenya. It was founded by Mwana, a local woman who witnessed the struggles of single mothers and believed early education could make a difference. With just a laminated room and big heart, she created a space for children to begin learning.
A few years later, Paul and Pearl from the UK met Mwana during a holiday. Shocked by the high child mortality rate, they joined forces with her to expand the project. In 2010, they founded the Kanami Trust to secure vital funding.
Since then, Kanami Trust has continued to support Little Angels. Together, they transformed a single classroom into a fully functioning community school

Hearts for change story
At the end of 2024, Karla and Ulas arrived in Kenya to volunteer. Through local contacts, they met Mwana and were welcomed into the Little Angels community. They quickly saw both the beauty of the school and the challenges it faced: damaged infrastructure, scarce materials, and limited resources.
Inspired by the power of collectivity, they began mobilizing people from across the world — remote volunteers, stable donors, and creative collaborators — each adding their piece to the puzzle.
In 2025, Hearts for Change was born: an organization with 7 seven committed members and a growing community of donors and volunteers. Together, we create spaces where children don’t just survive, but thrive through opportunities and tools forged in between the local community and our global supporters.
Today, Kanamai Trust sustains the foundation; teacher salaries, classrooms, and meals.
Hearts for Change expands the vision by creating inspiring spaces, introducing practical learning tools, and fostering community development rooted in dignity and collaboration.
Our long-term vision goes beyond supporting one school. Together, we are shaping a model of collective education — one that can be recreated across underserved communities.

Our Goals
Every child, family, volunteer, and supporter is a piece of the puzzle and only together do we create the full picture
Support is never about giving from above, but about walking side by side.
Education should prepare children for life, not just exams.
We focus on tools, skills, and creativity that children can carry into their futures.
We plant roots, not band-aids
From safe infrastructure to stable meals, we invest in solutions that endure long after students leave the school grounds.
We believe trust grows in the light.
Our donors don’t just give, they see every step.
